‘World of Colour’ has exploded colour all over World Square in the heart of Sydney.
Co-created with World Square and proudly supported by the City of Sydney, this vibrant, semi-permanent installation is a feast for the eyes! From walkways splashed with brightly coloured shapes to intriguing works of art suspended from above, ‘A World of Colour’ is a whimsical journey not to be missed.
Says World Square Marketing Manager Marina Zarnitsyna, “Bold, bright and unique artworks have overtaken the entrances and laneways at World Square, enticing passers by into the precinct to explore the dynamic mix of over 100 food, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment and essential services stores. The Spanish Stairs at George Street is one of the highlights of this bold and colourful project.”
Says VANDAL artist Kurtis Richmond, “Every entrance has been artistically transformed with bespoke decal, art and sculpture; reinvigorating the precinct with colour splashes and grammable moments that create surprise and delight around every corner.“
Add Richard Swan, VANDAL Creative Director; “We curated an artistic link between all World Square entry points, defining each with its own graphic language and colours; part placemaking, part wayfinding.”
